Gifts for People Who’d Rather Be Outside
Some people are easier to shop for once you remember the place they won't stop talking about.
We've made a lot of things over the years based on places we like to return to. A few of them happen to make pretty good gifts, too. Here are eight, from a $4 stocking stuffer to something worth putting on the wall.
For the Yosemite Regular
Half Dome Unisex Short Sleeve Tee — $37
Half Dome doesn't need much explanation. Our Half Dome tee is based on the kind of old park and souvenir graphics that have always influenced Habilis. It's printed on a garment-dyed cotton tee in faded brick and made for plenty of wear after the Yosemite trip is over.

For the Desert Person
Joshua Tree Cotton Bandana — $30
The Joshua Tree bandana is one of the easiest things in the shop to give as a gift. There's no size to guess, and a cotton bandana has plenty of uses even when you're nowhere near Joshua Tree.
Ours is printed with an illustrated high-desert design on 100% cotton. It works just as well tied around your neck as it does stuffed into a glove box.

For the West Texas Road Tripper
Big Bend National Park Poster — from $24.50
Big Bend takes some effort to get to. You tend to remember it once you've been. The artwork for this print was influenced by old West Texas roadside graphics and the visual language we kept coming across while working on the Big Bend collection. It's printed on heavyweight matte paper and comes in several sizes.

For the Yellowstone Person
Yellowstone National Park Unisex Short Sleeve Tee — $37
Yellowstone is one of those places people seem to develop a lasting attachment to. The graphic pairs two familiar parts of the park—the bear and the trout—in an illustrated design printed on a lightweight cotton tee made in the USA.
Good for someone who's been. Possibly better for someone who's already planning to go back.
For the Mountain-Town Regular
Lake Arrowhead Snapback — $40
Our Lake Arrowhead hat keeps things simple: an embroidered mountain graphic on a classic snapback. It's an easy gift if you don't know someone's shirt size, and a good choice for anyone with a soft spot for Southern California's mountain towns.

A Few Things for the Stocking
Habilis Stickers — from $4
Stickers are the smallest things we make and probably the easiest to give. Leave No Trace is a favorite, but there are designs from Yosemite, the John Muir Trail, Jackson Hole and elsewhere in the collection. Pick the place—or the message—that fits.
For Someone Who Keeps Going Back to Joshua Tree
Joshua Tree National Park Unisex Short Sleeve Tee — $37
We've made a few Joshua Tree designs over the years. This one comes from our interest in the older shirts and graphics associated with the desert rather than conventional park merchandise. It's printed in Los Angeles on a lightweight 100% cotton tee made in the USA.
For the West, Real or Imagined
Big Bend Western Unisex Short Sleeve Tee — $37
The Big Bend Western tee owes more to old rodeo and Texas souvenir graphics than traditional national park merchandise. That makes it a slightly different kind of park shirt, which is exactly why we like it. Lightweight cotton, made in the USA and printed with our illustrated bronc rider graphic.
